Professor
LEE, SUN WOO
Professor, Oriental Painting
artsunwoo@hongik.ac.kr
The main subject of his paintings is “A space of Life that is being forgotten”. He tries to reproduce the story within the lost time-his past-in a different space by modifying and combining images he collected while traveling. In his paintings, tracks of life accumulated with time and the blank spaces surrounding them are elaborately and formatively arranged to restore his past self lost with time.
