QWON, SUNWANG
Visitng Professor, Comtemporary Printmaking
QwonSunwang has been presenting conceptual prints in discussions on the expansion of prints since around 2010. This is because modern prints must be re-established as establishing a relationship with conceptual art from the perspective of art history so that they can encounter contemporary art. Conceptual prints are further expanded to Prainting, and the Prainting image based on prints can be said to have a very useful direction in the new contemporary art. As the main art activity, he is devoted to avant-garde and new art activities with contemporary artists who transcend genres as the base of Phanism.
